75 years Max Planck Society
During the annual meeting celebrating the 75th anniversary of the Max Planck Society in Göttingen, our CEO, Eckhard Moos, received a special award. The President of the Max Planck Society, Prof. Stratmann, honored our CEO for his 25 years of supporting membership and for his many years of commitment.
Today's Max Planck Society was founded in Göttingen on February 26, 1948. As the leading research institution in the Federal Republic of Germany, it can look back on an impressive history with 30 Nobel Prize winners. Since 2020 alone, five scientists have been awarded the prestigious prize for their outstanding achievements in the categories of chemistry, physics and medicine.
